Heart Chakra

Heart Chakra came from a very moving experience, years ago. I had been reading Deepak Chopras book about the heart chakra in the evening, before I went to sleep. Then in the night I woke up with this strong sensation, feeling how a green light of pure love expanded from my heart. The light felt so expansive, like it could reach the whole world. Beautiful, unconditional love for every living soul on this planet, for the flowers and grass and trees and waters… It made me think of Jesus, and his love for us. Or the love of (an ideal) mother for her children. A love very different from the fiery, almost selfish passion between lovers. To me, this was a very strong experience, that anchored even more strongly my belief that there are so much more between heaven and sky than meets the eye.

We all have a heart chakra and we all have so much love to give. Just let it out and see what happens…. (Hey, Putin and Netanyahu – this is for you, too!)

This is a unique, one of a kind textile artwork. It has been mainly hand stitched, using recycled fabrics and embroidery thread. The work is stitched to canvas and mounted on a wooden frame (made by Kristian), ready to hang on the wall. Signed.
