Since the beginning of our existence, humans have dreamed of the freedom of flying. Yet, the closest we come (unless we do parachuting or similar) is to get on an airplane. Is there anything more claustrophobic?

The feeling of freedom comes from inside you. When you´re in flow, you fly. And to get into flow, you need to do the things you just love. Go inside and find them.

The fabrics themselves, some soft linen and silk from worn out dresses, gift from a friend, became the inspiration for this flying bird.

This is a one of a kind handmade and handstitched picture. The embroidery/applique is stitched to canvas and mounted on a wooden fram. Signed and ready to hang on the wall.
